Elements of an Effective Safety Program When thinking about what it takes to have an effective safety program, consider these three areas: • Company Culture – What type do you have and where is safety on the agenda? • Awareness - How do you communicate safety to your employees? What types of training do you use? • Accountability – What processes do you use to hold employees accountable? If you want answers to these questions and more, join us in Dalton - Western Sizzlin - Thur. Sept. 3.

Elements of an Effective Safety Program

When thinking about what it takes to have an effective safety program, consider these three areas:

  • Company Culture – What type do you have and where is safety on the agenda?
  • Awareness - How do you communicate safety to your employees? What types of training do you use?
  • Accountability – What processes do you use to hold employees accountable?

If you want answers to these questions and more, join us in Dalton for lunch at the Western Sizzlin on Thursday, September 3 and meet Allan Hicks.  Mr. Hicks represents the Vertical Alliance Group, GMTA’s preferred partner affiliate for on-line training programs.  Learn more about Infiniti, a cost effective on-line training program offering more than 350 classes that cover virtually every aspect of trucking industry and driver training.  Companies can customize training to specific modules, incorporate policy manuals and correspondence, and give access and document training for drivers and other employees 24/7.

Let us know if you can join us for this discussion with your friends and industry colleagues.  Meet us on Thursday, September 3, at the Western Sizzlin.  Meeting time is at 11:30 am, and we hope to have everyone on their way back to work by 1:00 pm.  Please let us know if you can join us and send in your reservations promptly.   Remember, friends, guests and potential GMTA members are always welcome!

If you are not able to RSVP online you can print out the paper form by clicking here!
